Soybean is one of the popular crops that contain high protein, however, until now meeting the need for soybeans, especially in Indonesia is still a big problem that must be handled precisely. This research aims to examine the morphological, physiological, and yield responses of soybeans from the application of calcium carbonate (CaCO3), humic acid, and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF). The research was conducted from December 2022 to April 2023 at the ultisol soil of Sijunjung Regency, West Sumatra. The experiment used a split split-plot design with three replications. The first factor was giving AMF and without AMF. The second factor was giving humic acid and without humic acid. The third factor were five different dosages of CaCO3 addition, 0, ¼, ½, ¾, and 1 time of exchangeable Al, respectively. The variable components observed consisted of morphological, physiological, and soybean yield components. The results showed that CaCO3 application significantly affected root length, shoot dry weight, N-tissue content, soil pH, and soil exchangeable Al. The application of AMF independently had a significant effected on the percentage of AMF colonization. The yield components did not show significantly different results from all treatments. However, the productivity resulting from this experiment showed results that tended to be higher than 24,85 % of the potential yield of soybeans used. Therefore, the application of CaCO3 or humic acid or even AMF indenpendently could potentially be a solution to increase soybean yields in ultisol, especially in Sijunjung, West Sumatra. This suggests that the addition of AMF, humic acid, and CaCO3 can increase soybean yield, and should be considered in future farming practices.id
