dc.description.abstractMalaria is endemic in South Sumatera, Indonesia, nowdays, it still has many cases on District of Ogan Komering Mu. The aims of study were to find out the habit of Anopheles spp mosquitoes such as their preferences of host, the rythm and frsquencics of blood sucbg either indm or outdoor in relation to daily weather conditions. The human dwellings as site of mosquitoes collection were selected by purposive sampling with consideration that still have many malaria cases within the months. Four methods were used namely indoor human bait, outdoor human bait, animal bait (magoon trap) and window trap. The result showed that Anopheles collected at in door were 5 species namely A. aconitus, A. annutaris, A. &hi, A. scIncefieri and A. vagur. At outdoor were 7 species namely A. aconifus, A.unnularis, A. barbirostris, A. hchi, A. nigerrimus, A. schuefieri drm A. vagus, The fluctuation population of A. acortitus was in accordance with either increasing or h a s i n g of rainfall.id
