dc.description.abstractNationally Determined Contribution (NDC) merupakan komitmen Indonesia dalam upaya mengurangi emisi karbon dalam mencegah perubahan iklim. Jasinga Silviculture Teasching Industry (JSTI) sebagai hutan rakyat memiliki kontribusi dalam menyerap karbon di udara dan mengubahnya dalam bentuk simpanan karbon. Penelitian ini bertujuan bertujuan menghitung potensi simpanan karbon di atas permukaan (Above Ground) pada lahan Jasinga Silviculture Teaching Industry (JSTI) Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis vegetasi berdasarkan tutupan lahan rapat dan jarang dan menghitung potensi simpanan karbon melalui pendekatan rumus alometrik. Plot pengamatan yang dibuat berukuran 40 m x 25 m sebanyak 6 plot masing-masing terdapat 3 plot pada tegakan rapat dan jarang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis NDVI, tegakan rapat memiliki nilai 0.36-0.42 dan tegakan jarang memiliki nilai 0.31-0.35. Komposisi jenis di JSTI terdiri atas 21 jenis pohon dari 16 famili. Pada tingkatan pancang dan tiang jenis yang mendominasi adalah Schima wallichii dan Maesopsis eminii sementara pada tingkat pohon jenis yang mendominasi dengan INP tertinggi adalah Artocarpus heterophyllus dan Schima wallichii. Potensi simpanan karbon pada tegakan rapat dan jarang masing-masing memiliki nilai sebesar 22.41 tonC/ha dan 10.52 tonC/ha. Simpanan karbon di atas permukaan pada tegakan rapat dan jarang di JSTI ditentukan oleh kerapatan tegakan, sebaran diameter, dan biomassa.id
dc.description.abstractNationally Determined Contribution (NDC) is Indonesia's commitment to reducing carbon emissions in preventing climate change. Jasinga Silviculture Teasching Industry (JSTI) as a community forest has a contribution in absorbing carbon in the air and converting it into carbon stores. This study aims to calculate the potential of above Ground carbon storage in the Jasinga Silviculture Teaching Industry (JSTI) in Bogor Regency, West Java. The method used is vegetation analysis based on dense and sparse land cover and calculating the potential for carbon storage through an allometric formula approach. Six observation plots of 40 m x 25 m were built, each of which had 3 plots on dense and sparse stands. Based on the results of NDVI analysis, dense stands have a value of 0.36- 0.42 and sparse stands have a value of 0.31-0.35. The species composition in JSTI consists of 21 tree species from 16 families. At the sapling and pole level the dominating species were Schima wallichii and Maesopsis eminii while at the tree level the dominating species with the highest INP were Artocarpus heterophyllus and Schima wallichii. The potential for carbon storage in dense and sparse stands were 22.41 tonC/ha and 10.52 tonC/ha respectively /Ha. Aboveground carbon storage in dense and sparse stands in JSTI is determined by stand density, diameter distribution, and biomass.id
