The Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model has been widely used in the forecasting of extreme meteorological conditions. But, the application to fire weather condition in tropical peatland remains several challenges, especially for the physical schemes’ parameterization. This study aims to test the physical schemes combination to forecast hydrometeorological parameters. This research focused on the Kahayan-Sebangau peat hydrological unit by conducting goodness-of-fit tests on nine combinations of physical parameter schemes. The results showed that in tropics the combination of WSM6 microphysics scheme, YSU primary boundary layer scheme, and Kain-Fritsch cumulus scheme was reliable in predicting rainfall in the wet season, while the New Tiedtke cumulus scheme was suitable for the dry season. The RRTMG longwave and shortwave radiation schemes, as well as the RUC land surface scheme, produced air temperature with lower biases, but the Noah LSM has higher correlation. The RUC land surface scheme also produces better soil moisture values but affects rainfall forecast results. Therefore, the K4 combination was suitable for use in the wet season, while K2 was in dry season.id
