      Potensi Cadangan Karbon pada Dua Areal Hutan Kota (Urban Forest) di DKI Jakarta

      Abstract
      Hutan kota sebagai ruang terbuka hijau di kawasan perkotaan berperan penting dalam upaya mitigasi perubahan iklim. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, mendeskripsikan, dan menganalisis keanekaragaman jenis, serta mengukur potensi cadangan karbon dari vegetasi di dua kawasan hutan kota DKI Jakarta, yaitu Hutan Kota Sangga Buana dan Hutan Kota Sukapura. Perhitungan cadangan karbon menggunakan metode non-destruktif dengan rumus alometrik, serta dilakukan perhitungan nekromassa pada pohon mati dan serasah lantai hutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan komposisi tegakan pada masing-masing lokasi, dengan adanya jenis yang mendominasi di setiap lokasi yaitu Sukun (Artocarpus altilis) di Hutan Kota Sangga Buana dan Mahoni (Swietenia macrophylla) di Hutan Kota Sukapura. Cadangan karbon di Hutan Kota Sangga Buana tergolong tinggi dengan nilai 124,56 ton C/ha dengan kemampuan serapan CO2 sebesar 457,13 ton CO2/ha. Cadangan karbon Hutan Kota Sukapura tergolong sedang dengan nilai 71,79 ton C/ha dengan kemampuan serapan CO2 sebesar 263,46 ton CO2/ha.
       
      Urban forest as part of green open space in urban space plays an important role in climate change mitigation. The purpose of this study is to identify, describe, and analyze the composition of two different urban forest stand and to measure the carbon stock potential of two different urban forests in Jakarta: Sangga Buana Urban Forest and Sukapura Urban Forest. Measurement of carbon stock is done using non-destructive method with allometric equation, along with necromass estimation from dead trees and tree litters. Result shows difference in composition between the two locations, whereas Breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis) is found to be the dominant species in Sangga Buana Urban Forest, and Mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla) is dominant in Sukapura Urban Forest. Sangga Buana Urban Forest shows high level of carbon stock potential with 124,56 ton C/ha and CO2 sequestration of 457,13 ton CO2/ha. Sukapura Urban Forest shows medium level of carbon stock potential with 71,79 ton C/ha and CO2 sequestration of 263,46 ton CO2/ha.
