      Pengembangan Produksi Zeoponik dalam Sistem Pemasaran di Wilayah Bogor

      Abstract
      Media tumbuh tanaman (MTT) merupakan salah satu komponen utama dalam bercocok tanam. Pengembangan MTT perlu memperhatikan kualitas komposisi bahan, sifat fisika dan kimia. Beberapa MTT komersial mempunyai kelemahan, diantaranya adalah rendahnya daya sangga terhadap lonjakan daya hantar listrik (DHL) yang dapat mengganggu pengambilan hara oleh tanaman. Pengembangan MTT berbahan dasar zeolit diberi nama “zeoponik”, berbahan zeolit, kompos, dan cocopeat, dengan perbandingan tertentu, memiliki KTK yang tinggi, dapat mempertahankan DHL media tetap rendah, memiliki pH netral 6,5- 7,0 dan mengandung unsur hara makro dan mikro dalam jumlah cukup dan seimbang. Prospek zeoponik sebagai MTT berkualitas dalam pengembangannya perlu didukung dengan sistem pemasaran yang baik. Pemasaran MTT saat ini sebagian besar dilakukan dengan pemasaran secara konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan produksi zeoponik serta sistem pemasaran zeoponik yang efektif di wilayah Bogor. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di tempat produksi (Padalarang, Bandung), tempat survei produsen MTT komersial (Cibanteng, Cimahpar, dan Batu Hulung), sosialisasi zeoponik (Cipaku, Ciawi, dan Sukamantri), dan pemasaran zeoponik (Bogor). Tahapan penelitian meliputi, deskripsi kualitas dan produksi zeoponik, mempelajari gambaran produksi dan pemasaran MTT di Bogor, dan pemasaran zeoponik (menentukan HPP, sosialisasi, pemasaran langsung dan melalui E-commerce). Hasil penelitian bahwa produk zeoponik memiliki kualitas yang baik sebagai MTT untuk berbagai tanaman, yaitu tanaman hias, hortikultura, dan bibit tanaman perkebunan. Pemasaran secara langsung (Direct Marketing) melalui reseller terlihat lebih cepat dan lebih besar daripada sistem konsinyasi. Pemasaran zeoponik meningkat pada empat bulan pertama, penjualan tertinggi 1450 kantong pada bulan ke-empat. Prioritas pengembangan pemasaran zeoponik dilakukan dengan pengembangan Direct Marketing melalui reseller. Pemasaran zeoponik melalui E-commerce, tertinggi melalui WhatsApp dibantu promosi melalui instagram, namun perlu dilakukan pengembangan strategi pemasaran yang tepat.
       
      Plant growing media (PGM) is one of the main components in farming. PGM development needs to pay attention on quality material composition, physical and chemical characteristic. Commenly, comersial PGM have weaknesses, such as the low buffering capacity to reduce the high EC which can influence nutrient uptake. The development of PGM based on zeolit is named “zeoponik”, made from zeolite, compost, and cocopeat with certain ratio, has a high CEC, can maintain a low to medium EC, has a neutral pH of 6.5-7.0, and contains macro and micro nutrients in sufficient and balanced quantities. The prospect of zeoponik as a good quality PGM in its development needs to be supported by a good marketing system. Currently, PGM marketing is mostly with conventional marketing. This study aims to determine the development of zeoponik production and the effective zeoponik marketing systems at Bogor Region. This research was conducted at production sites (Padalarang, Bandung), survey sites of comersial PGM producers (Cibanteng, Cimahpar, and Batu Hulung), zeoponik socialization (Cipaku, Ciawi, and Sukamantri), and zeoponik marketing (Bogor). The research stages include determining the quality and production of zeoponik studying production and commercial PGM in Bogor, zeoponik marketing (determaining production cost, socialization, direct marketing, and E-commerce). The results showed that zeoponik products have good quality as PGM for various plants, namely ornamental plants, horticulture, and plantation plant seeds. Direct marketing through resellers looks faster and bigger than the consignment system. Zeoponik marketing increased in the first four months, the highest sales of 1450 bags in the fourth month. The priority for developing zeoponik marketing is carried out by developing direct marketing through resellers. Zeoponik marketing through E-commerce, the highest is WhatsApp assisted by promotion via Instagram, but it is necessary to develop an appropriate marketing strategy.
