      Abstract

IPB University has high biodiversity, one of which is butterfly diversity. Butterfly diversity can change over time due to climate and environmental changes. This study aims to determine the diversity, evenness, and similarity of butterfly species in the Dramaga Campus of IPB, and to determine changes in the diversity of butterfly species in the area of the Dramaga Campus of IPB after experiencing these changes. Data was collected using the Pollard transect method and obtained 116 butterfly individuals consisting of 28 species. The butterflies found consisted of 4 families, namely Pieridae, Nymphalidae, Papilionidae, and Lycaenidae. The highest diversity of butterfly species is in the Lake SDGs location with a value of 2,12. The highest evenness value of butterfly species is at the Conservation Park location with a value of 0,97. The highest level of similarity occurs between Lake SDGs and Jalan Ulin with a value of 0,38. In general, the diversity of butterflies on the Dramaga Campus of IPB has decreased over the past 10 years.
