The key to a sustainable future within this changing wodd is to access information that leads to better decision making. Today in the globaliz.ation era. Information and Communication Technology (JCT) are the backbone of a modem society. Regarding to the globalimtion issues. spatial data becomes a strategic commodity issue in driving economic. physical. social. environment. and political development In Indonesia, geospatial data and information have been produced by each agency, but information using geospatial data still could not be accessed directly since the spatial data and information have scattered in various agencies. To obtain integrated data, it needs to establish a network of dataset which is called Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI). The principle objective of SDJ development is to maximum use in term of accessibility, data availability. avoid redundancy, reduce cost. and data sharing. Analysis method that applied to achieve the objectives of this research is using combination of prospective and fuzzy analysis method. Prospective analysis applied in order to get dominant factors. The result of prospective analysis wiJI be used for next fuzzy analysis and to build a model as a framework of SDI development. Priority of strategic programs is produced from fuzzy analysis. Fuzzy analysis produces seven priority of strategic program to develop SDI in Indonesia. The seven priority of strategic programs respectively are: 1) To build, publish, and socialize of concept, regulation. policy, that are needed; 2) Communication. coordination, participation and partnership: 3) Ensure data avaiJabiJity; 4) Organimtion, institutional strengthening. capacity building. 5) Network system; 6) Data management system; 7) Human resow-ces. Technology In order to meet the goals of SDI development in Indonesia there are some recommendations including a) Increase the awareness and understanding the vision, concepts, and benefits of SDI; b) Socialize the vision, concepts, and benefits of SDI; c) Demonstrate the benefits of participation in the SD] to stakeholders and participants; d) Develop common solutions for discovery, access, and use of spatial data in response to the needs of diverse communities; e) Build relationships among organimtions to support the continuing development of the SDI; t) Maximize the use of NSDI web-site in order to facilitate access and to speed the dissemination of data and services; g) Establish the infrastructure and business practices to sustain the changes; h) Improve the quality of national meeting in term of the content of the meeting to address current issues, participants, and budgetid
