Nilai efektivitas agronomik relatif (RAE) perlakuan 1 STD + ½ PM dan 1 STD + 1 PM berturut turut 112.5% dan 113.2% yang menunjukkan kenaikan 12.5% dan 13.2% bobot tongkol jagung akibat perlakuan ½ dan 1 dosis pupuk mikro dibanding perlakuan pupuk mineral dosis standar tanpa pupuk mikro. dc.description.abstractOne way to improve the availability of micronutrients and increase maize yields is by fertilizing micronutrients according to plant needs. The aim of this study was to obtain the correlation coefficient between available micronutrients in soil and maize nutrient uptake based on two soil available micronutrient analysis methods and examine the effect of micronutrients on the growth and yield of sweet corn. A randomized block design with 8 treatments and 4 groups was used in this micronutrient fertilization experiment. The treatment consisted of 4 levels of micro fertilizer (PM), namely Control (without PM), ½ PM, 1 PM and 1 ½ PM, combined with ¾ and 1 standard dose (STD) of mineral fertilizer and standard mineral fertilizer treatment without PM. The experimental results showed that the relationship between Cu, Zn, Fe, and Mn available in soil based on the DTPA analysis method with the same micronutrient uptake by corn had a higher and more significant correlation coefficient (r) compared to the correlation coefficient of the EDTA analysis method. The effect of micronutrient treatment on variable plant height at the age of 8 weeks after planting showed that the 1 STD + ½ PM treatment showed the highest plant height and was significantly higher than the control and standard treatment (STD). The 1 STD + 1 PM treatment showed the highest corn cob weight, significantly higher than the control, but not significantly different from the other treatments. The relative agronomic effectiveness (RAE) values of 1 STD + ½ PM and 1 STD + 1 PM treatment were 112.5% and 113.2%, respectively, which showed an increase of 12.5% and 13.2% in corn cob weight due to ½ and 1 dose of microfertilizer treatment compared to the dose of mineral fertilizer treatment standard without microfertilizer.
