dc.description.abstractJulang emas (Rhyticeros undulatus) merupakan jenis burung dari Famili Bucerotidae dan termasuk burung frugivora. Resort Cimantaja, Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun Salak (TNGHS) adalah salah satu lokasi persebaran julang emas. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengidentifikasi variabel-variabel berpengaruh, potensi kesesuaian habitat, dan membangun model kesesuaian habitat di TNGHS. Metode yang digunakan yaitu studi literatur, observasi lapang dan pengamatan vegetasi. Analisis pemodelan habitat julang emas di TNGHS dengan metode analisis spasial menggunakan tujuh variabel meliputi jarak dari pohon pakan, NDVI, tutupan lahan, ketinggian, kemiringan, jarak dari jalan, dan jarak dari permukiman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap pembangunan model kesesuaian yaitu jarak dari pohon pakan dan tutupan lahan. Luasan terbesar pada lokasi penelitian yaitu kelas kesesuaian sedang yaitu 2627,41 ha dari luas keseluruhan sebesar 3290,20 ha. Karakteristik habitat julang emas di lokasi penelitian meliputi dekat dengan pohon pakan dengan kerapatan tajuk yang rapat, tutupan lahan dengan daerah bervegetasi, daerah ketinggian ≥ 700 mdpl dengan kemiringan lereng yang curam dan jauh dari aktivitas manusia. dc.description.abstractThe wreathed hornbill (Rhyticeros undulatus) is a species of bird from the Bucerotidae family and is a frugivorous bird. Cimantaja Resort, Mount Halimun Salak National Park (TNGHS) is one of the locations for the distribution of the wreathed hornbill. The research objectives are to identify influential variables, and potential habitat suitability, and to build a model of habitat suitability in TNGHS. The method used is literature study, field observation, and vegetation observation. Modeling analysis of wreathed hornbill habitat in TNGHS using spatial analysis method using seven variables including distance from forage trees, NDVI, land cover, elevation, slope, distance from roads, and distance from settlements. The results showed that the most influential variables in the development of the suitability model were the distance from forage trees and land cover. The largest area in the research location is the medium suitability class, which is 2627,41 ha of the total area of 3290,20 ha. Habitat characteristics of the wreathed hornbill at the study site include close to foraging trees with dense canopy density, land cover with vegetated areas, and an altitude area of 700 m above sea level with steep slopes and far from human activities.
