Giving depolarizing katuk pellets as a feed additive to ruminants has been popular among breeders. The aim of this study was to evaluate the physiological and hematological responses of growing rams that is given katuk leaf pellets and a mixture of depolarized katuk soft stems (15%). Twenty-one (21) young local rams were grouped into 7 groups of 3 each. The grouping was based on the treatment of pellet where (D) contains katuk leaf as the main ingredients and (DBL) contains a mixture of 15% soft stems with 85% katuk leaf, based on the dose that is given via oral, namely D-1 5gram, D-2 10gram and D-3 15gram, DBL -1 5grams, DBL-2 10grams, DBL-3 15grams. Observed Parameters were heart frequency, respiration, body temperature, hemoglobin and hematocrits levels, erythrocyte and leukocyte counts and the percentage of leukocyte differentiation consisting of lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils and the N/L ratio. This study showed that D and DBL pellets did not affect the hematological value of rams. Hematologic values, heart rate, respiration and body temperature were still in the normal range and the N/L ratio showed reasonable values. This study concluded that the use of these two forms of pellets in growing rams did not show any physiological effect and did not show signs of sheep under stress conditions. Substitution of 15% soft stem as raw material for pellets is very possible and does not disturb the sheep's physiology. Keywords: Sheep, pellets, katuk, physiological, hematologyid
