dc.description.abstractTenun troso merupakan tenun khas dari Kabupaten Jepara yang potensial dalam perkembangan etnobotani pewarna alami. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi karakteristik pengrajin tenun troso, mengkaji jenis-jenis tumbuhan yang digunakan sebagai pewarna alami pada tenun troso, mengidentifikasi cara memperoleh bahan baku dan cara pengolahannya sebagai pewarna tenun, serta mengkaji pemasaran produk tenun troso. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengrajin tenun didominasi oleh laki-laki dengan usia produktif. Tingkat pendidikan pengrajin tenun mayoritas lulusan SMA dan sumber pengetahuan terkait menenun diperoleh secara turun-temurun dari orang tua. Pengrajin tenun troso menggunakan pewarna alami, pewarna alami dan sintetis, serta pewarna sintetis sebagai pewarna tenun. Terdapat 16 jenis tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan sebagai pewarna alami yang semuanya diperoleh dengan cara memungut di lingkungan sekitar. Kulit batang mahoni paling banyak digunakan sebagai pewarna alami karena keberadaannya sangat banyak di sekitar pengrajin. Tenun troso yang dihasilkan dipasarkan di dalam dan ke luar Kabupaten Jepara.id
dc.description.abstractThe troso weave is a classic Jepara Regency weaving with possibilities for the growth of ethnobotanical natural dyes. The purpose of this study is to identify the traits of craftspeople who weave trosos. Examine the kinds of plants that are used to create natural dyes for troso weaving, determine where to find raw materials and how to turn them into woven dyes, and examine the torso woven products marketing as well. The snowball sampling technique was employed in this research project. The results showed that men in their prime working years dominated the weaving craftsmen. The majority of weavers are high school graduates, and they typically learn about weaving from their parents as they pass down expertise from generation to generation. Natural dyes, natural and synthetic dyes, and synthetic dyes are all types of weaving dyes used by troso weavers. There were 16 different sorts of plants that are utilized as natural dyes, and they were all gathered from their surroundings. Because there are so many the craftsman, mahogany bark was the most used natural coloring. The resulting troso weaving was marketed both inside and outside of Jepara Regency.id
