| dc.description.abstract | Mulsa yang memiliki sifat biodegradabe perlu dikembangkan untuk menggantikan mulsa plastik yang dapat menimbulkan masalah lingkungan. Biomulsa klobot jagung menjadi solusi bahkan dapat meningkatkan nilai klobot jagung itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa pengaruh ukuran partikel, konsentrasi klobot, serta jenis klobot (serbuk klobot atau selulosa klobot) terhadap sifat mekanik biomulsa yaitu kuat tarik, perpanjangan putus, dan modulus elastisitas. Rancang percobaan menggunakan rancang acak lengkap dan dilanjutkan analisa ANOVA dua arah. Pengujian sifat mekanik dilakukan dengan pengujian tarik. Serbuk klobot 100 mesh memberikan hasil yang terbaik dengan pengecilan ukuran partikel akan berakibat menurunnya sifat mekanik mulsa yang dihasilkan. Penambahan konsentrasi serbuk klobot dan selulosa klobot akan menurunkan sifat mekanik biomulsa yang dihasilkan. Nilai kuat tarik dan perpanjangan putus biomulsa dengan selulosa klobot jagung lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan biomulsa serbuk klobot, sementara itu nilai modulus lebih rendah, namun lebih sesuai dengan yang ingin dicapai. | id |
| dc.description.abstract | Mulch that has biodegradable properties needs to be developed to replace plastic mulch which can cause environmental problems. Corn husk biomulch is a solution that can even increase the value of corn husks itself. This study aims to analyze the effect of particle size, husk concentration, and type of Particles (husk powder or husk cellulose) on the mechanical properties of biomulch namely tensile
strength, elongation at break, and modulus of elasticity. The experimental design used a completely randomized design and continued with two-way ANOVA analysis. Testing of mechanical properties is carried out by tensile testing. Husk powder at 100 mesh gives the best results with a furthure reduction in particle size will result a decrease in the mechanical properties of the mulch. The addition of the concentration of husk powder and cellulose will reduce the mechanical properties of the resulting biomulch. The value of tensile strength and elongation at break of biomulch with corn husk cellulose was higher than that of husk powder biomulch, meanwhile the value of the modulus of elasticity was lower, but more in line with what was wanted to be achieved. | id |
