      Pengaruh Pemberian Controlled Release Fertilizer CRF 13-6-27 terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit

      Abstract
      Pembibitan kelapa sawit merupakan tahap yang menentukan pertumbuhan tanaman kelapa sawit. Pembibitan kelapa sawit dipengaruhi oleh kualitas media tanam yang digunakan. Peningkatan kualitas media tanam dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan pupuk lepas terkendali atau Controlled Release Fertilizer (CRF) yang mampu menyediakan hara sesuai pertumbuhan tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari hubungan antara pemberian pupuk CRF 13-6-27 terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit. Pupuk yang digunakan terdiri dari tiga jenis yaitu coating poli etilen glikol (PEG), coating asam humat dan non coating yang dibandingkan dengan NPK Mutiara 16-16-16 sebagai kontrol. Masing-masing pupuk diberikan dengan total dosis 105 gram/bibit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan CRF 13-6-27 coating PEG memberikan hasil terbaik dibandingkan pupuk lain terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit. Coating PEG lebih baik dibandingkan coating asam humat dalam pembuatan pupuk CRF untuk bibit kelapa sawit.
       
      Oil palm nursery is a stage that determines the growth of oil palm plants. Oil palm nursery is influenced by the quality of growth media. The quality of the growth media can be improved using a controlled-release fertilizer (CRF) that can provide nutrients according to plant growth. This study aims to study the relationship between the application of CRF 13-6-27 fertilizer on oil palm seedling growth with respect to the different coating materials of the CRF, namely polyethylene glycol (PEG) coating, humic acid coating, and non-coating in comparison to NPK Mutiara 16-16-16 as a control. Each type of CRF was tested at a total dose of 105 grams/seedling. The results showed that the CRF 13-6-27 PEG coating treatment gave the best results compared to other fertilizers on the growth of oil palm seedlings. PEG coating is better than humic acid coating for oil palm seedlings.
