Reengineering Modul Front End Aplikasi IPB Connect Menggunakan Framework NuxtJS dan Metode Prototyping

Abstract

Aplikasi “IPB Connect” merupakan aplikasi yang menjadi penghubung antara alumni dan mahasiswa aktif IPB University untuk saling berkomunikasi dan bertukar informasi secara online. Namun, hingga saat ini aplikasi “IPB Connect” masih menggunakan framework yang sudah tidak lagi dikembangkan maupun diperbaiki oleh pihak pengembangnya. Sedangkan aplikasi ini masih sangat dibutuhkan untuk bisa dikembangkan lebih jauh lagi agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian kali ini akan dilakukan re engineering pada modul frontend dengan mengganti framework yang digunakan saat ini menjadi NuxtJS serta mengembangkan beberapa fitur pendukung untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna aplikasi ini. Penelitian akan dilakukan menggunakan metode Prototyping dengan tahapan komunikasi, perancangan, pemodelan, pembuatan prototipe, dan penyebaran. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu peneliti dapat meningkatkan skalabilitas aplikasi ini, memperbaiki struktur kode, memperbaiki tampilan dan juga mengembangkan fitur baru yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna, sehingga pengguna dapat saling berkomunikasi dan bertukar informasi dengan baik.

"IPB Connect" application is an application that becomes a liaison between alumni and active students of IPB University to communicate with each other and exchange information online. However, until now the "IPB Connect" application still uses a framework that is no longer developed or repaired by the developer. While this application is still very much needed to be developed further in order to fulfill the user needs. Therefore, in this study, re-engineering will be carried out on the frontend module by changing the current framework to NuxtJS and developing several supporting features to fulfill the needs of users of this application. The research will be conducted using the Prototyping method with the stages of communication, design, modeling, prototyping, and deployment. The results of this study are researchers can improve the scalability of this application, improve the code structure, improve the interface and also develop new features that can fulfill user needs, so that users can communicate with each other and exchange information well.
