Staphylococcus aureus is a bacteria’s causes secondary infection toward the repeated breeding (RB) of cows. repeated breeding could affect the decline of pregnancy rate for the cows. This study aimed to isolate and identify the Staphylococcus aureus in Simmental’s vagina through the RB in BPTU-HPT Padang Mengatas. There were five specimens of vaginal douching collected from five Simmental cows had been through repeated breeding. There were two methods used in this research to identify the bacteria, those were Gram Staining and Biochemical test. The specimens were cultivated within the media of Blood Agar (BA) by using T-Streak technique. The next step was Gram staining, and continued by biochemical testing. The result showed that there were no Staphylococcus aureus bacteria found from those identified specimens. On the other side, the bacteria identified from those specimens were genus Micrococcus and Bacillus. Keywords: repeated breeding, Simmental cows, Staphylococcus aureusid
