dc.description.abstractHemoglobin adalah pigmen sel darah merah yang membawa oksigen. Sekitar 96%–98%, oksigen yang mampu dibawa oleh hemoglobin. Oksigen merupakan zat yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk berlangsungnya proses-proses fisiologis. Aktivitas fisiologis berkorelasi dengan proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan, sehingga besar kemungkinan aktivitas juga berkaitan dengan usia. Parameter yang digunakan adalah kadar hemoglobin, dan nilai saturasi oksigen pada masing masing 9 ekor anak tikus jantan dan betina yang dikelompokkan dalam usia 1, 21 dan 70 hari, dengan masing-masing 3 ekor tikus per kelompok. Perhitungan kadar hemoglobin diukur menggunakan alat EasyTouch GCHb. Saturasi oksigen diukur menggunakanpulse oximetry. Kadar hemoglobin pada anak tikus jantan dan betina yang baru lahir mengalami peningkatan yang tidak signifikan pada saat berumur 21 hari. Peningkatan kadar hemoglobin yang signifikan terjadi pada anak tikus jantan dan betina yang berumur 70 hari. Saturasi oksigen mengalami peningkatan secara signifikan seiring bertambahnya umur. Nilai saturasi oksigen anak jantan dan betinatidak berbeda nyata (p>0.05). Korelasi kadar hemoglobin dengan saturasi oksigen semakin kuat seiring bertambahnya usia pada anak tikus jantan danbetina. dc.description.abstractHemoglobin is an oxygen-carrying pigment found in red blood cells. Hemoglobin can carry oxygen in the range of 96 to 98 percent of the time. Oxygenis a chemical that is required for all physiological processes. Physiological activityis linked to the process of growth and development, it's likely that activity is linked to age as well. The parameters were hemoglobin levels and oxygen saturation values of 9 male and 9 female rats which were grouped into 1, 21 and 70 days of age, with 3 rats for each. The EasyTouch GCHb tool was used to determine hemoglobin concentrations. Pulse oximetry was used to determine oxygen saturation. Until the age of 21 days, the levels of hemoglobin in newborn male and female rats did not significantly rise. A significant rise in hemoglobin levels of male and female rats were occured at aged 70 days. The oxygen saturation increased along with the age. The oxygen saturation levels of male and female rats did not differ significantly (p>0.05).
