      Gambaran Umum Terapi Skabies pada Sapi Lokal di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, Provinsi Riau, Indonesia

      Abstract
      Skabies merupakan salah satu penyakit yang berperan penting dalam sektor peternakan sapi lokal di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, pemilihan pengobatan yang tepat menjadi sangat penting dilakukan guna meminimalisir dampak skabies. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kejadian skabies pada sapi lokal di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu dan pemilihan jenis obat serta tingkat efektivitas obat terpilih untuk terapi skabies. Data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rekapan data Dinas Peternakan dan Perkebunan Kabupaten Rokan Hulu tahun 2016-2020. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kejadian skabies tertinggi terjadi tahun 2016 yaitu sebanyak 145 kasus. Penurunan optimal kejadian skabies terjadi tahun 2019-2020 yaitu hanya tersisa 1,3-2% dari semula. Terapi yang diberikan dalam penanganan skabies di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu berupa terapi kausatif dan terapi suportif. Terapi kausatif yang sering digunakan adalah ivermectin 1% dengan dosis 0,2 mg/kg BB sedangkan terapi suportif yang sering digunakan yaitu kombinasi vitamin E, A, dan D3. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ivermectin 1% menjadi pilihan terapi skabies di berbagai dunia, termasuk di Rokan Hulu, Riau, Indonesia.
       
      Scabies is a disease that plays an important role in the local cattle industry in Indonesia. Therefore, selection of the right treatment is very important in order to minimize the impact of scabies. This study aims to understand the incidence of scabies in Rokan Hulu Regency, to analyze the drug selection and the level of effectiveness of the selected drug for scabies therapy. The data on scabies in the year 2016-2020 were collected from the Department of Animal Husbandry and Plantation Rokan Hulu Regency. The data were analyzed descriptively. From the result, it was shown that the highest incidence of scabies was recorded in 2016 with 145 cases. The optimal reduction of scabies cases were observed in 2019 and 2020 where the incidence of scabies was only 1.3-2%. Treatments of scabies in Rokan Hulu Regency were categorized into causative therapy and supportive therapy. The causative therapy that was most often used was ivermectin 1% at a dose of 0.2 mg/kg BW, while the most common supportive therapy was a combination of vitamin E, A, and D3. It was concluded that ivermectin 1% is the best choice treatment for scabies in multiple countries including Rokan Hulu, Riau, Indonesia.
