Analisis sosial ekonomi Tebu Rakyat Intensifikasi (TRI) dan dampaknya terhadap struktur perekonomian wilayah

Abstract

This research was to analyze the TRI program as viewed from the micro as well as macro aspect, and the linkages between those two aspects, performed in Central Java. The objectives of this research were (a) to know the position of the TRI farming scheme in comparison with alternative farmings, and how far such farming scheme was benefecial to the farmers, (b) to assess how far the farmers were able to allocate the existing resources optimally, (c) to examine to what extent the price level and production sharing of the TRI farming schemes were able to constitute the optimal farming scheme, (d) to find out the role of the TRI program in the output, gross domestic regional product (GDRP), regional income, regional employment opportunities and the linkages among sectors in the region (e) to assess how far the TRI program could generate a multiplier effect on the regional income and regional employment opportunities, (f) to know the linkage between the resource allocation on micro-base at farm level and the resource allocation on macro-base at regional level and the implication on regional output, income and employment opportunities and the multiplier effect on regional income and employment opportunities, (g) to know the comparative superiority in producing sugar in the researched area, taking into account the domestic resource allocation and international sugar trade, (h) to assess how far the TRI program was able to formulate and implement the policy which could look after the interest of farmers and community in the researched area.
