      Abstract
The wastewater of laundry industrial have handle it with chemical coagulation and electrochemical. The observation of this case as good as experiment about the wastewater of laundry industry, knowledge content parameters of wastewater from processed by both methods, learn additional coagulant dose have optimum with methode of chemical coagulation, than as good as combination from electrical power and time of power electric shock optimum operation for electrochemical process. Process of chemical coagulation such as added with PAC and alum stirred with 120 rpm about 1 minute and 30 minute for 45 rpm. There is electric power 9, 12, 15, 18, and 24 voltages combined with the specific time (15, 30, 45, and 60 minute). The second processing of analyzed the results of water pollution like pH, colours, turbidity, TSS, COD, phosphate-up, and level of detergent. Observation produce the rate of reduction of phosphate and detergent in successive electrochemical process until 1.30 mg/liter and 0.08 mg/liter. The best of alternative coagulant dose from wastewater that can be reused (alternative 1) is 800 mg/liter for PAC and around 200 mg/liter until 600 mg/liter for alum. Whereas, coagulant doses from the wastewater directly discharged into the environment (alternative 2) as good as about 20 mg/liter for PAC and 200 mg/liter for alum with pH and without pH. Cost of materials for alternative 1 is the coagulant PAC doses 800 mg/liter with cost materials Rp 8000/m3 and around Rp 900/m3 until Rp 2700/m3 for alum with doses about 200 until 600 mg/liter. The alternative 2 have a lowest cost around 20 mg/liter for PAC doses and cost materials about Rp 20/m3.
