Sistem Penunjang Keputusan untuk Perencanaan Lokasi Agroindustri Tahu di Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat
Abstract
Soybean (Glycine max) has been known as the raw material for food products, which were coinmon to the people such as tofu, soymilk, and other soybased foods. Beside their nutrition richness, those products also had a relatively reasonable price for all people. The location for soybean farming needed a particular characteristic based on its growing necessities in order to get yielding satisfaction in the end. One of the process after soybean harvesting was to transport them to the soybean agro industry factory as the raw material for tofu product. Tofu industry was a small level industry, which was usually a family business and passed on for generations. This k i d of tradition can be a problem if the location turned out not to be the ideal location because there was other expenses like transportation fee thus the revenue was not optimal and can not sustain the industry to develop any better. From the state of affairs above, we need a kind of system (Decision Support System) to determine the optimal location for soybean production as the industry raw material and the perfect location to build the factory. This Decision Support System hope to fulfill the decision maker need to make an industrial planning for determining the location for soybean fanning and the processing industry in particular. Decision Support System potentially was one of the alternative solutions for the soybean problem. The reason of this research was to study all kind of factors and parameters which affect soybean agro industrial commodity planning especially in determining the location of soybean as raw material production, soybean processing industiy and to design the model of Decision Support System of Agro Industry Location Planning For Tofu In Bogor Region, West Java. This Decision Support System was designed in a software package named CENTRYLOC, which consist of Pinpoint Processing System, Database Management System, Model Base Management System and Dialog Management System. The point of CENTRYLOC was Model Base Management System, which contained three sub models: (1) Raw Material Production Location Analysis Sub Model, (2) Agro Incl~strial Location Analysis Sub Model, and (3) Agro Industrial Financial Properness Analysis Sub Model. Raw Material Production Location Analysis Sub Model was designed to verify the suitable location to establish soybean fanning based on the ideal criterias for soybean farming. The analysis result of model that utilizes Exponential Comparison Method was that the most suitable locations for soybean fanning were Pasung Panjang, Ciomas, Cibungbulang, Ciampea, Dramaga, Ciawi, Sukaraja, and Cibinong District.
