      Abstract
      Prakiraan penjualan perlu dilakukan agar dapat memenuhi permintaan konsumen akan produk keju. PT XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang mendistribusikan produk keju yang melakukan prakiraan dengan merata-ratakan tiga bulan penjualan dimana nilai rata-rata penyimpangan yang dihasilkan mendekati batas prakiraan dikatakan cukup baik, yaitu sekitar 31%-39%. Pada proyek ini dilakukan prakiraan penjualan tiga produk keju dengan metode Exponential Smoothing: Klasifikasi Pegel dan Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA). Kedua metode tersebut digunakan untuk membandingkan nilai akurasi antara kedua metode tersebut dengan perusahaan. Salah satu dari kedua metode tersebut dengan nilai akurasi tertinggi akan direkomendasikan untuk memprakirakan penjualan kepada perusahaan. Hasil proyek menunjukkan bahwa kedua metode rata-rata memiliki nilai akurasi yang lebih baik dibanding perusahaan dimana prakiraan dengan metode ARIMA memiliki nilai akurasi yang lebih baik dibanding Klasifikasi Pegel sehingga metode ARIMA direkomendasikan dalam prakiraan penjualan. Nilai akurasi pada ketiga produk dengan metode ARIMA lebih tinggi sekitar 6-10% dari Klasifikasi Pegel.
       
      Sales forecasting needs to be done in order to meet consumer demand for cheese products. PT XYZ is one of the companies that distributes cheese products and makes forecasts by averaging three months of sales where the average value of the resulting deviations is close to the forecast limit which is said to be quite good, which is around 31% -39%. In this project sales forecasting of three cheese products was carried out using the Exponential Smoothing method: Pegel Classification and Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA). Both methods are used to compare the value of accuracy between the two methods with the company. One of the two methods with the highest accuracy value will be recommended for forecasting sales to companies. The results of the project show that the two methods on average have a better accuracy value than companies where forecasting using the ARIMA method has a better accuracy value than the Pegel Classification so the ARIMA method is recommended in sales forecasting. The accuracy value of the three products using the ARIMA method is about 6-10% higher than the Pegel Classification.
