      Pemanfaatan Limbah Ampas Sagu Menjadi Pupuk Organik pada Rumah Produksi Pati Sagu Berkelanjutan

      Abstract
      Rumah produksi pati sagu Pak Ropi merupakan rumah produksi yang menghasilkan pati sagu dengan skala kecil. Permasalahan yang diidentifikasi dari rumah produksi pati sagu tersebut antara lain limbah padat dan limbah cair yang dihasilkan dari proses produksi pati sagu dalam jumlah banyak dibiarkan menumpuk atau dibuang langsung ke aliran sungai serta belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan terjadinya aliran sungai yang terhambat serta pencemaran lingkungan. Pada penelitian ini limbah yang dimanfaatkan adalah limbah padat berupa ampas sagu hasil proses produksi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu proses dekomposisi dengan mencampurkan limbah padat ampas sagu dan kotoran kambing serta aktivator berupa mikroorganisme lokal. Ide solusi dari permasalahan tersebut yaitu memanfaatkan limbah padat ampas sagu hasil proses produksi menjadi kompos dan kemudian dilakukan uji efektivitas kompos terhadap parameter pertumbuhan tanaman bayam yaitu tinggi tanaman dan jumlah helai daun. Kompos yang dihasilkan bersifat ramah lingkungan dan dapat digunakan sebagai komplementer dalam penggunaan pupuk karena dapat menyuburkan tanah serta membantu meningkatkan efektivitas pertumbuhan tanaman.       Pak Ropi's sago starch production house is a production house that produces sago starch on a small scale. Problems identified from the sago starch production house include solid waste and liquid waste generated from the sago starch production process in large quantities that are allowed to accumulate or be dumped directly into the river and have not been utilized optimally. This can cause obstructed river flow and environmental pollution. In this study, the waste used was solid waste in the form of sago dregs resulting from the production process. The method used is the decomposition process by mixing solid waste sago dregs and goat manure as well as an activator in the form of local microorganisms. The idea for the solution to this problem is to utilize solid waste sago dregs from the production process into compost and then test the effectiveness of the compost on the spinach plant growth parameters, namely plant height and number of leaves. The compost produced is environmentally friendly and can be used as a complement to the use of fertilizers because it can fertilize the soil and help increase the effectiveness of plant growth.
