Measurements of chlorophyl-a, primary production, and TSS concentration using Landsat-ETM images during the period of 2002 – 2011 particularly for southeast monsoon (dry season) have been used in order to study the dynamics of those parameters in Jakarta Bay. Chlorophyl-a and primary distributions in Jakarta Bay show higher concentration in the coastal water than open water, meanwhile TSS concentration in Jakarta Bay show a fluctuative value. On the other hand, temporal analysis produces distribution trend of the chlorophyl-a towards out of the Jakarta Bay. Distributions of primary production tend to stay in the coastal of Jakarta Bay with increased value of spreading. While the distributions trend of TSS tend to varies. In general, the distribution patterns of chlorophyl-a and primary productions are similar, but they are different with TSS distributions. Overall, the changing parameters are influenced by human activities (anthropogenic) in Jakarta Metropolitan Area.en
