dc.description.abstractBridge is one of the most important parts of a highway. A Failure of bridge structures, especially the bottom as abutments, piers and foundations would be fatal to the bridge structure. Cimanggis-Cibitung Highway have length 25,785 km. One of the bridges that were analyzed in this study passing through Transyogi’s Road and the Cikeas river so advance planning is required in the form of a bridge as a condition for determining the height of the vertical free space on roads and bridges that crossed the river. The first step is determining Cikeas river flood discharge and water level flood return period of 50 years. Cikeas river flood discharge is 344,643 m3/s and flood water level of 2,4 m. Terms of vertical free space for a bridge across the river and over the exsisting path is 1 m and 5.1 m. The second step of determining the carrying capacity of the land of the results of SPT Test, Sondir Test and Test of Laboratories. Based on the test selected third Test returns to the carrying value of the land at the point of DB-28 was 2506,64 kN at a depth of 18 m. Based on the carrying value of the type of foundation used is pile foundation with a diameter of 80 cm, depth of 18 m, and concrete quality of K-350 so the amount of the foundation is 16 foundations in a group.en
