dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research was to determine kind of pelagic fishes on apar bay. Research was conducted for 3 months from april to June 2009 on apar bay, Paser District, East Kalimantan Province. Statistical count by Equilibrium Schaefer found that maximum sustainable yield (Cmsy) suggested for sustainability potency was 98 units of fishing gear. (Cmsy) for scad mackarel were 257 ton/year with 51 units fishing gear suggested, (Cmsy) yellow striped trevally were 144 ton/year with 100 units fishing gear suggested (Cmsy) frim gescale sardine were 137 ton/year with 113 units fishing gear suggested (Cmsy) spotted spanish mackerel were 199 ton/year with 504 units fishing gear suggested (Cmsy) anchovy were 284 ton/year with 88 units fishing gear suggested (Cmsy) skipjack were 275 ton/year with 412 units fishing gear suggesteden
