dc.description.abstractOne of the most important task at any water treatment plant is safeguarding the quality of drinking water. PT TKCM as a regional water treatment company, has implemented ISO 9001 since 2005. Recently, this company moves toward to implement ISO 22000: 2005, in order to answer the needs of safe water supply. This study was conducted to assess the current condition at PT TKCM for preparation of implementation of ISO 22000:2005 with the specific purpose to assess the company's progress in the documentation, human resources, facilities and pre-requisite program implementation aspect’s base on FSMS - ISO 22000:2005 requirements. The study was conducted with several stages. The first step was gap analysis in documentation requirements. The second step was on site observation to collect data regarding aspects of human resources (HR),facilities and implementation of Pre-requisite Program (PRP) aspects. The third step was synthesizing recommendations base on the study result and the last was to develop the HACCP plan. This study was done through field observations, interviews, pretest and assesment using a standard checklist ISO 22000:2005, PAS 220 and pretest questions as tools. The results showed that the progress of company in the fulfillment of required aspect base on ISO 22000:2005 were (69%) in the documentation, (40%) in human resources, (69%) in facilities and (67%) in the PRP implementation. Therefore some rooms for improvement were needed to be taken for documentation, human resources, infrastructure and PRP implementation. HACCP Plan have been determined based on 12 step including 7 HACCP principles (BSN). Three processing step were identified as CCPs i.e.filtration, effluent control and post chlorination process.en
