Abstract: Nepenthes is a unique plant, it is potential for ornamental plants. Nowadays, the population of Nephentes in its natural habitat is being decreased by land conversion and excessive exploitation by society. One of the habitat which is now threatened by land conversion is the heath forest. Research on Nephenthes in the heath forest, particularly in East Belitung District is generally not much done. This research aims to identify the diversity, ditribution pattern and associations in the heath forest particularly in East Belitung District, Bangka-Belitung Island Province. This research was conducted on July - August 2011 in 3 types of heath forest at East Belitung District, which are the primary heath forest (Rimba), the secondary heath forest (Bebak) and the particular heath forest (Padang). The data collection was done with analysis of vegetation method by using line quadrats. The number of lines in each type of heath forest was 10 with the size of 10 m x 100 m which are further divided into measure 10 m x 10 m and distance between lines was 50 m. The identification of Nepenthes used reference from Nepenthes Kantung Semar yang Unik (Mansur 2006) book and a guidebook of Nepenthes (Hernawati and Akhriadi 2006).
