dc.description.abstractThe power of catches landed at fishing port is very important; as in developed countries like the European Union for example France, Germany and so forth. Each fishing port in these countries have the power of catches landed information, which is not only important for fishermen, but also for fish traders, fish processors, port manager and government. The power of catch is also important for the standardization of fishing ports. This research is aim to know the power of catches landed in the Palabuhanratu Territorial Fishing Port (PTFP) Sukabumi. The research uses case study method; with specific aspects investigated include the aspect of the catch landed at fishing ports. The study shows that in PTFP, the power of catches landed and its components have not yet realized the importance and an important concern for the users in this port, the port manager and the government. The components of the power of catches are only relatively interpreted by the users, the port manager and the government. The impact is,the development of the catches landed at this port is not optimal. The power of catches landed need to be applied in PTFP.en
