Abstract: This study was aimed to determine antihyperglycaemic effect of Azadirachta indica J extract on alloxan-induced diabetic rat, active compound indentification, and tablet formulation This study used 18 mice Spraque Dawley strains are divided into 6 groups. The results of this study indicate that extracts dose given orally 30, 60 and 90mg / kg body weight showed a decrease of blood glucose levels of diabetes mice alloxsan significant (P <0.05) by 7%, 8%, and 14.8% after giving repeatedly extracts on the tenth day compared with the sixth day. Indentification of flavonoid compound showed antocianidin which have flavylium (2-fenil-benzopyrylium) ion on the first fraction and the second fraction showed antocianidin : ion flavylium (2-fenil-benzopyrylium) , 7- hidroksi flavylium 4'-hidroksi flavylium, and 3,4,7'-trihidroksi flavylium Mimba extract could be made on tablet formulation used PVP K-30 on wet granulation.
