Reproductive Bioiogy and Spawning Effort of The Silver Mouth Turban Snail Turbo argyrostoma Linnaeus, 1758

Abstract

A resource on reproductive biology and spawning Effort of the silver mouth turban snail Turbo argyrostoma Linnaeus, 1758 of the intertidal water of Ujung Genteng, Sukabumi, West Java, had been conducted from June 2000 till May 2001. The study consisted of three aspects i.e reproduvtive biology, bioecology, and the spawned techmology of the silver mouth turban. Analysis methodologies used in this research were visual analysis (descriptive), morphometric, and histology. The child square test was used to analyze the data.
