dc.description.abstract | Thirty young male local rabbits, varied from 470 to 690 gram, were randomly devided into 3 groups. Three treatments were given, i.e. low growth rate to group I, low-high to group I1 and high to group 111, respective.ly. The study was carried out in 6 weeks. The result showed that a t the end of study, the average body weight was 738, 834 and 764 gram for group I, I1 2nd 111, respective ly. Total edible was 47, 47 and 48% of body weight for group I, 11 and 111. S t a t i s t i c a l analyses showed that growth rate did not s i g n i f icantly affect the weight of edible carcase, that of total edible minus edible carcase, that of edible head, and that of t o t a l edible, a t the same body weight. | id |
