Abstract: Effects of telnpe as source of protein in the diet on lipid profile in rats was observed. This research was divided into two studies. The first study investigated the effects of temp and soy protein diet on the plasma lipid profile (Total Cholesterol. IIDL-Cholesterol, LDL-Cholesterol and Triacylglycerol) and the second. observed the effects tempe protein level (0: 25; 50; 75 and I(a0 % temp proteins) in the diet on plasma lipid profile. Fifleen Sprague Dawley (SD) rats was used and divided into three groups of five rats the first study. In the second study 25 rats was used and divided into five groups of fil e rats The result shoncd.
