| dc.description.abstract | The effects of cytokinin on somatic embryo reproduction of Arabica coffee has been studied in vitro using the USDA 230762 clone . The success of reproduction of 58.5 up to 100 percent was achieved . The greatest number of somatic embryo was produced on media containing 4 mg/l BAP. On that media about 105.3 embryoids could be produced directly without passing callus stage from each explant. A part of the embyos (33.3 - 83.3 percent) has been successfully developed into plantlet. The success of this stage was determined by Ca-P and biotin. The highest percentage of plantlet development was 83.3 percent, while maximum number of roots per plantlet was observed on media containing 10 mq/l Ca-P and 0.05 m y / l biotin. Several plantlets have been transferred into the soil medium. | id |
