The increasingly competitive labor market requires fresh graduates not only to possess technical competencies but also adequate soft skills to be well prepared for employment. This study aims to analyze the level of soft skills, the level of work readiness, and the effect of soft skills on the work readiness of fresh graduates in North Maluku Province. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to fresh graduates in North Maluku, with data analyzed through descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. The results show that the level of soft skills is in the goodcategory with an average score of 4.13 out of a maximum score of 5, while work readiness is in the very good category with an average score of 4.30 out of a maximum score of 5. Furthermore, soft skills have a positive and significant effect on work readiness, with a regression coefficient of 0.545 and a significance level of < 0.001. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.535 indicates that soft skills explain 53.5% of the variation in work readiness, while the remaining variance is influenced by other factors outside the research model.
