| dc.description.abstract | Today's society is increasingly concerned about health and the environment, fueled by advances in information technology that facilitate access to knowledge about the impacts of unhealthy lifestyles and the risks of conventional food systems. Intensive livestock farming practices that use synthetic hormones, excessive antibiotics, and suboptimal hygiene management pose serious health risks, such as impaired fertility, antimicrobial resistance, and microbial contamination. Furthermore, these systems negatively impact the environment through greenhouse gas emissions, soil and water pollution, and reduced animal welfare. These conditions are encouraging people to shift to a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, including through the consumption of organic products, which are considered safer, more environmentally friendly, and aligned with sustainability principles. Organic chicken eggs are one of the most sought-after organic food products, because they are not only highly nutritious but also produced through a production system that limits the use of synthetic chemicals and supports animal welfare. The increasing trend in organic egg consumption in Indonesia, including in West Java, indicates significant opportunities for its development. With increasing health awareness and environmental concerns, research into the influence of these two factors on organic egg purchase intentions is crucial to support producers in designing effective and sustainable marketing strategies. Data collection was conducted between January and February 2025 in Bogor City. The study used primary data obtained from a survey using questionnaires distributed offline and online using Google Forms. A total of 250 respondents were used for data analysis. Data were analyzed using PLS-SEM and IPMA using SmartPLS 3 software. The results of this study indicate that health awareness and environmental concern do not have a significant direct effect on purchase intention for organic chicken eggs in Bogor City. However, attitude toward behavior and perceived behavioral control were shown to have a significant effect on purchase intention for organic chicken eggs in Bogor City, while subjective norms did not show a significant effect. Further mediation analysis revealed the impact of health awareness and environmental concern on purchase intention, indicating that both indirectly influence consumer intention through attitude toward behavior and perceived behavioral control. Based on the results of the importance-performance map analysis (IPMA), it can be concluded that environmental concern and perceived behavioral control are priority variables that need to be improved to encourage purchase intention for organic chicken eggs in Bogor City. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Masyarakat saat ini semakin peduli terhadap kesehatan dan lingkungan, karena dipicu oleh kemajuan teknologi informasi yang mempermudah akses pengetahuan mengenai dampak gaya hidup tidak sehat serta risiko dari sistem pangan konvensional. Praktik peternakan intensif yang menggunakan hormon sintetis, antibiotik berlebih, serta manajemen kebersihan yang kurang optimal menimbulkan risiko kesehatan yang serius, seperti gangguan kesuburan, resistensi antimikroba, hingga kontaminasi mikroba. Selain itu, sistem ini juga memberikan dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan melalui emisi gas rumah kaca, pencemaran tanah dan air, serta penurunan kesejahteraan hewan. Kondisi tersebut mendorong masyarakat untuk beralih pada gaya hidup sehat dan berkelanjutan, termasuk melalui konsumsi produk organik yang dianggap lebih aman, ramah lingkungan, dan selaras dengan prinsip keberlanjutan. Telur ayam organik termasuk salah satu produk pangan organik yang banyak diminati, karena selain bergizi tinggi juga dihasilkan melalui sistem produksi yang membatasi penggunaan bahan kimia sintetis dan mendukung kesejahteraan hewan. Tren peningkatan konsumsi telur organik di Indonesia, termasuk di Jawa Barat, menunjukkan adanya peluang besar dalam pengembangannya. Dengan meningkatnya kesadaran kesehatan dan kepedulian lingkungan, penelitian mengenai pengaruh kedua faktor ini terhadap niat pembelian telur organik menjadi penting untuk mendukung produsen dalam merancang strategi pemasaran yang efektif dan berkelanjutan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada bulan Januari 2025 – Februari 2025 di Kota Bogor. Penelitian menggunakan data primer yang didapatkan dari hasil survei menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan secara luring dan daring menggunakan google form. Total data yang digunakan berasal dari 250 responden. Analisis data menggunakan PLS-SEM dan IPMA dengan menggunakan software SmartPLS 3. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel kesadaran kesehatan dan kepedulian lingkungan tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung yang signifikan terhadap niat pembelian telur ayam organik di Kota Bogor. Namun, sikap terhadap perilaku dan persepsi kontrol perilaku terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap niat pembelian telur ayam organik di kota Bogor, sementara norma subjektif tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Analisis efek mediasi lebih lanjut mengungkapkan dampak kesadaran kesehatan dan kepedulian lingkungan terhadap niat pembelian, yang menunjukkan bahwa keduanya memengaruhi niat konsumen secara tidak langsung melalui sikap terhadap perilaku dan persepsi kontrol perilaku. Berdasarkan hasil importance-performance map analysis (IPMA), dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepedulian lingkungan dan persepsi kontrol perilaku merupakan variabel prioritas yang perlu ditingkatkan untuk mendorong niat pembelian telur ayam organik di Kota Bogor. | |
