dc.description.abstractRemaja yang belum mampu mengendalikan fungsi fisik dan psikologis cenderung mengalami ketidakstabilan emosi yang memicu agresivitas. Kondisi keluarga yang kurang mampu juga dapat memperkuat kecenderungan tersebut sebagai bentuk pelampiasan emosi atau mekanisme pertahanan diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kontrol diri dan konformitas teman sebaya terhadap agresivitas remaja di Sekolah Dhuafa. Penelitian kuantitatif ini melibatkan 77 siswa kelas 10 dan kelas 11 di Sekolah Master Depok dengan teknik convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden memiliki tingkat kontrol diri dan konformitas teman sebaya dalam kategori rendah dan agresivitas dalam kategori sedang. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan jenis kelamin responden berhubungan positif dengan konformitas teman sebaya dan agresivitas, kontrol diri berhubungan negatif dengan agresivitas, dan konformitas teman sebaya berhubungan positif dengan agresivitas. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa konformitas teman sebaya berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap agresivitas. Sementara itu, usia ayah dan kontrol diri berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap agresivitas. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan kontrol diri dan lingkungan pertemanan yang positif dapat menjadi strategi penting dalam menekan perilaku agresif pada remaja.
dc.description.abstractAdolescents who are unable to regulate their physical and psychological functions tend to experience emotional instability that triggers aggressive behavior. Family conditions marked by economic hardship may further reinforce such tendencies as a form of emotional release or self-defense mechanism. This study aims to analyze the influence of self-control and peer conformity on adolescent aggressiveness in underprivileged schools. This quantitative research involved 77 students from grades 10 and 11 at Sekolah Master Depok, selected using a convenience sampling technique. The results showed that respondents had low levels of self-control and peer conformity, while their aggressiveness was in the moderate category. Correlation analysis revealed that gender was positively related to peer conformity and aggressiveness; self-control was negatively related to aggressiveness; and peer conformity was positively related to aggressiveness. Regression analysis further indicated that peer conformity had a significant positive effect on aggressiveness, whereas father’s age and self-control had significant negative effects. These findings emphasize that strengthening self-control and fostering positive peer relationships can serve as key strategies to reduce aggressive behavior among adolescents.
