Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja proses serta memetakan Value Stream Mapping (VSM) produksi pakan pelet pada Edu-Feedmill. Evaluasi kinerja proses produksi dilakukan melalui perhitungan utilisasi dan efisiensi proses produksi pakan pelet pada Edu-Feedmill. Kemudian dilakukan analisis VSM sebagai tools pada lean manufacturing yang mengidentifikasi pemborosan berikut penyebab permasalahan melalui current dan future state map. Kapasitas produksi pakan pelet pada Edu-Feedmill secara keseluruhan masih rendah dilihat dari nilai efisiensi dan utilisasi yang masih rendah di bawah 80%. Total lead time sebelum perbaikan adalah 28025 detik sedangkan setelah perbaikan total lead time setelah 24458 detik. Analisis pemborosan menunjukkan besarnya persentase aktivitas tidak bernilai tambah 14,29%. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa upaya dari perbaikan proses produksi pakan pelet pada Edu-Feedmill dengan pendekatan VSM meningkatkan perbaikan Process Efficiency Cycle (PEC) sebesar 8,34%.
This study aims to evaluate process performance and map the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) of pellet feed production at Edu-Feedmill. Process performance evaluation is carried out by calculating the utilization and efficiency of the pellet feed production process at Edu-Feedmill. Then, VSM analysis is performed as a lean manufacturing tool that identifies waste and the causes of problems through current and future state maps. The overall pellet feed production capacity at Edu-Feedmill is still low, as indicated by the efficiency and utilization values, which are below 80%. The total lead time before improvement was 28,025 seconds, while the total lead time after improvement was 24,458 seconds. The waste analysis showed that the percentage of non-value-added activities was 14.29%. This study concludes that efforts to improve the pellet feed production process at Edu-Feedmill using the VSM approach increased the Process Efficiency Cycle (PEC) by 8.34%.
