| Abstract: | Peningkatan usia harapan hidup dan jumlah lansia terus terjadi sehingga membutuhkan perhatian khusus, terutama dalam ebiasaan makan, status gizi, dan aktivitas fisik. Lansia yang tinggal di panti sosial memerlukan pelayanan dan perawatan yang tepat oleh caregiver untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pelayanan caregiver dengan kebiasaan makan, status gizi dan aktivitas fisik lansia di Panti Werdha Caritas Bekasi. Diteliti menggunakan disain cross sectional dan melibatkan 35 subjek lansia yang dipilih secara total sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara secara langsung serta dianalisis dengan uji korelasi Spearman. Temuan menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan pelayanan caregiver dengan kebiasaan makan lansia (p>0,05), namun terdapat hubungan pelayanan caregiver dengan aktivitas fisik lansia (p<0,05). Hubungan yang signifikan juga ditemukan antara pelayanan caregiver dengan status gizi, baik berdasarkan indeks massa tubuh (p<0,05), % lingkar lengan atas (LILA) (p<0,05), maupun skor Mini Nutritional
Asssessment (MNA) (p<0,05). Life expectancy and the number of elderly continue to increase, requiring special attention, especially in eating habits, nutritional status, and physical activity. Elderly people living in social care institutions require appropriate services and care from caregivers to improve their health. This study aims to analyze the relationship between caregiver services and the eating habits, nutritional status, and physical activity of elderly people at the Caritas Bekasi Werdha Home. The study used a cross-sectional design and involved 35 elderly subjects selected by total sampling. Data were collected through direct interviews and analyzed using the Spearman correlation test. The findings showed no relationship between caregiver services and elderly eating habits (p>0.05), but there was a relationship between caregiver services and elderly physical activity (p<0.05). A significant relationship was also found between caregiver services and nutritional status, both based on body mass index (p<0.05), % mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC) (p<0.05), and Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA) scores (p<0.05). |
