| Abstract: | Pemberian ASI eksklusif merupakan praktik pemberian hanya ASI saja selama 6 bulan pertama kehidupan kepada bayi. Keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, di antaranya dukungan suami dan beban kerja mental. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan dukungan suami dan beban kerja mental dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada guru SD di Kota Bandung. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional study dengan jumlah subjek sebanyak 81 orang ibu balita yang bekerja sebagai guru sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung. Berdasarkan hasil uji chi square, terdapat hubungan signifikan antara dukungan suami dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif subjek (p = 0,043). Di sisi lain, berdasarkan hasil uji likelihood ratio, tidak terdapat hubungan antara beban kerja mental dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada subjek (p = 0,523). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan suami memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada subjek. Exclusive breastfeeding is the practice of providing only breast milk for the first 6 months of life to infants. The success of exclusive breastfeeding can be influenced by various factors, including husband support and mental workload. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between husband support and mental workload with exclusive breastfeeding among elementary school teachers in Bandung. The research design used was a cross sectional study with a total of 81 subjects of mothers of toddlers who worked as elementary school teachers in Bandung. Based on the results of the chi-square test, there was a significant relationship between husband support and exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.043). On the other hand, based on the results of the likelihood ratio test, there was no relationship between mental workload and exclusive breastfeeding in the subjects (p=0.523). The results of this study indicate that husband's support has a positive influence on the success of exclusive breastfeeding in subjects. |
