Abstract: Sektor peternakan kambing dan domba memiliki potensi pertumbuhan signifikan, namun terhambat oleh keterbatasan akses permodalan formal dan minimnya pengetahuan teknis peternak skala kecil.
The goat and sheep farming sector has significant growth potential but is hampered by small-scale farmers' limited access to formal financing and technical knowledge. Conversely, there is substantial investment potential from the public that has not been optimally channeled into the real sector. This research aims to design an innovative business model called Terda to bridge the gap between investors and farmers. The customer discovery method was employed to validate hypotheses regarding the problem, solution, and business model. The findings confirm an urgent need among farmers for a non-debt financing scheme accompanied by technical assistance. On the investor side, a crucial need for a secure, transparent, and risk-protected investment instrument was identified. Based on these findings, a verified Terda business model demonstrating product-market fit was formulated. This model integrates a profit-sharing scheme, market guarantees, intensive mentoring, and livestock insurance protection to create a resilient and investable agribusiness ecosystem.
