| Abstract: | Peningkatan produksi pada sektor budidaya perikanan menjadi strategi
penting dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan di Indonesia. Sebagai kampung
perikanan budidaya nasional dan sentra nila salina, Kecamatan Tayu di Kabupaten
Pati mengalami kemajuan yang signifikan. Akan tetapi, terjadinya banjir rob
menimbulkan hambatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis kondisi
sistem sosial-ekologi perikanan budidaya nila salina di Kecamatan Tayu dan (2)
menganalisis strategi yang dapat dilakukan dalam mendukung pengembangan
usaha budidaya nila salina di Kecamatan Tayu. Metode yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini yaitu, analisis deskriptif dengan Social Ecological System (SES)
framework yang didukung analisis kuantitatif dengan metode analisis pendapatan
R/C ratio dan analisis Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM). Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa usaha budidaya nila salina di Kecamatan Tayu layak untuk
dikembangkan berdasarkan R/C ratio yang dihasilkan. Terjadinya banjir rob
menyebabkan produksi nila salina gagal total. Dihitung dari total biaya tunai dan
non tunai yang dikeluarkan, estimasi kerugian akibat banjir rob diperkirakan
mencapai 45.838.503 rupiah/hektar/siklus produksi. Kondisi ekosistem mangrove
yang kurang baik di pesisir Kecamatan Tayu belum dapat melindungi daratan
dengan optimal dari banjir rob. Komunitas lokal berbasis masyarakat dinilai
memiliki peranan penting dalam pengelolaan kawasan mangrove sebagai pelindung
pesisir dari ancaman banjir rob dan abrasi. The increase in the aquaculture production is an important strategy for supporting food security in Indonesia. As a national aquaculture village and center for saline tilapia, Tayu Sub-district in Pati Regency has experienced significant progress. However, tidal flooding has become an obstacle. This study aims to (1) analyze the social-ecological systems of saline tilapia aquaculture in Tayu and (2) identify strategies that can be implemented to support of saline tilapia farming in the area. The methods used include income analysis using the R/C ratio, descriptive analysis with the Social Ecological System (SES) framework, and Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM). The results show that saline tilapia aquaculture in Tayu is feasible to develop based on the R/C ratio. Tidal flooding has caused total production failure. Based on the total cash and non-cash costs incurred, the estimated loss due to tidal flooding is approximately IDR 45.838.503 per hectare per production cycle. The poor condition of the mangrove ecosystem along Tayu’s coast has not been able to optimally protect the land from tidal flooding. Local communities are considered to play an important role in managing mangrove areas as coastal protection against the threats of tidal flooding and abrasion. |
