Abstract: Rachmat Farm merupakan peternakan ayam petelur yang berlokasi di kabupaten Bandung dengan sistem kandang terbuka. Permintaan telur yang tinggi, rata-rata 10-15 kg per hari, tidak dapat dipenuhi karena produksi harian masih terbatas pada 6 kg per hari akibat kapasitas kandang dan populasi ayam yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan pengembangan bisnis melalui penambahan kandang dan populasi ayam petelur. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kualitatif untuk menganalisis kelayakan non finansial seperti perencanaan aspek pemasaran, aspek teknis (produksi), aspek organisasi dan manajemen, aspek sumber daya manusia, dan aspek kolaborasi serta analisis kuantitatif untuk menganalisis kelayakan finansial melalui perhitungan dengan NPV yaitu sebesar Rp166.620.973, Net B/C sebesar 2,44, Gross B/C sebesar 1,14, IRR sebesar 52%, dan PP yaitu selama 11 bulan. Hasil dari analisis sensitivitas menunjukkan bahwa batas toleransi perubahan penurunan produksi dan harga jual sebesar 12,76% dan peningkatan harga input pakan sebesar 32,75% agar bisnis tetap layak dijalankan.
Rachmat Farm is a layer chicken farm located in Bandung Regency that operates using an open house system. The high demand for eggs, averaging 10–15 kg per day, cannot be met because daily production is still limited to 6 kg due to the low capacity of the chicken cage and chicken population. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of business development through the addition of chicken cage and the layer chicken population. The analysis methods used in this research include qualitative analysis to assess non-financial feasibility such as marketing planning, technical (production) aspects, organizational and management aspects, human resources, and collaboration aspects, as well as quantitative analysis to evaluate financial feasibility through calculations using NPV of IDR 166,620,973, a Net B/C of 2.44, a Gross B/C of 1.14, an IRR of 52%, and a Payback Period of 11 months. The results of the sensitivity analysis indicate that the tolerance limits for changes in production decline and selling prices are 12,76%, and the increase in feed input prices is 32,75% for the business to remain viable.
