| Abstract: | Model kolaborasi triple helix yang melibatkan perguruan tinggi, industri, dan pemerintah merupakan pendekatan strategis dalam penguatan ekosistem riset dan inovasi nasional berbasis kebutuhan. Di Indonesia, pendekatan ini diadopsi dalam Program Riset Inovatif Produktif (RISPRO) yang dikelola oleh Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP). Meskipun secara konseptual mendukung integrasi fungsi akademik, industri, dan kebijakan, implementasi kolaborasi triple helix sering menghadapi tantangan di tingkat operasional tim riset, seperti lemahnya koordinasi lintas lembaga, terbatasnya pertukaran pengetahuan, belum optimalnya manajemen proyek, serta rendahnya transparansi dalam pengambilan keputusan antaraktor kolaborasi. Kondisi ini menegaskan urgensi untuk memahami faktor-faktor internal yang memengaruhi kinerja tim dalam pelaksanaan riset kolaboratif.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kinerja tim riset dalam skema RISPRO Invitasi berbasis triple helix. Penelitian dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei daring terhadap 176 responden dari 24 tim riset di sembilan perguruan tinggi penerima dana RISPRO. Instrumen penelitian mencakup empat konstruk utama, yaitu manajemen proyek riset, kolaborasi berkualitas, berbagi pengetahuan, dan kinerja tim riset. Analisis data dilakukan melalui metode deskriptif dan pengujian model dengan pendekatan partial least squares–structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan Juni 2024 hingga Juli 2025. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan secara daring, sedangkan kegiatan diskusi, konsultasi, dan pembahasan hasil penelitian dilakukan secara luring di Jakarta dan Bogor.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berbagi pengetahuan merupakan faktor yang paling signifikan dalam memengaruhi kinerja tim riset secara langsung. Selain itu, manajemen proyek riset berpengaruh kuat terhadap kolaborasi berkualitas dan berbagi pengetahuan, serta memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap kinerja tim. Kolaborasi berkualitas berperan sebagai mediator penting dalam mendukung proses pertukaran pengetahuan yang lebih efektif. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif dan nilai outer loading, indikator yang paling menentukan dalam mendukung kinerja tim riset antara lain: kepemimpinan ketua peneliti, adaptabilitas tim terhadap perubahan, pembagian peran dan tanggung jawab yang jelas, keterbukaan dalam komunikasi tim, dokumentasi pengetahuan secara eksplisit, dan transparansi antar pihak dalam menjalankan proyek. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan kolaborasi riset bergantung pada kualitas manajemen, sinergi antaraktor, serta komitmen dalam membangun proses pembelajaran tim yang dinamis dan akuntabel. The triple helix collaboration model, which involves universities, industry, and government, represents a strategic approach to strengthening the national research and innovation ecosystem based on real-world needs. In Indonesia, this approach has been adopted in the Productive Innovative Research Program (RISPRO), managed by the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP). While conceptually supportive of integrating academic, industrial, and policy functions, the practical implementation of the triple helix collaboration often faces challenges at the research team level, such as weak inter-institutional coordination, limited knowledge sharing, suboptimal project management, and a lack of transparency in decision-making processes among actors. These challenges highlight the urgency of understanding internal factors that influence team performance in collaborative research projects. This study aimed to identify the factors influencing research team performance within the RISPRO Invitational scheme based on the triple helix model. The research was conducted quantitatively through an online survey involving 176 respondents from 24 research teams across nine universities receiving RISPRO funding. The research instrument consisted of four main constructs: research project management, quality of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and research team performance. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive methods and model testing through the partial least squares–structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. The study was conducted from June 2024 to July 2025. Data collection was carried out online, while discussions, consultations, and result reviews were conducted offline in Jakarta and Bogor. The results indicated that knowledge sharing was the most significant factor directly influencing research team performance. In addition, research project management strongly affected both the quality of collaboration and knowledge sharing and had an indirect influence on team performance. Quality of collaboration served as a key mediator in facilitating more effective knowledge exchange. Based on descriptive analysis and outer loading values, the most critical indicators supporting research team performance included: principal investigator leadership, team adaptability to change, clarity of roles and responsibilities, openness in team communication, explicit knowledge documentation, and transparency among stakeholders in project implementation. These findings underscore that the success of research collaboration depended on the quality of management, actor synergy, and commitment to building a dynamic and accountable team learning process. |
