| dc.description.abstract | Biofotovoltaik merupakan sistem bioelektrokimia yang menggunakan Spirulina sp. sebagai organisme fotosintetik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh media Zarrouk, BG-11, dan GA terhadap keluaran listrik Spirulina sp. dalam sistem biofotovoltaik dengan jembatan garam vertikal. Kultivasi Spirulina sp. dilakukan di dalam ruangan menggunakan chamber akrilik dengan intensitas cahaya 3000 lux selama 24 jam dan perlakuan aerasi satu jam hidup dan 20 menit mati. Proses kultivasi dilakukan dalam dua kali pengulangan dengan pengambilan data secara triplo pada pukul 08.00, 12.00, dan 16.00. Tegangan, rapat arus, dan rapat daya tertinggi dihasilkan oleh media Zarrouk dengan nilai berturut-turut 0,777?±?0,001 V; 8,672?±?0,016 mA/m²; dan 6,738?±?0,024 mW/m². Media BG-11 menghasilkan tegangan 0,775?±?0,004 V, rapat arus 8,646?±?0,037 mA/m², dan rapat daya 6,698?±?0,057 mW/m². | dc.description.abstract | Bio-photovoltaics is a bioelectrochemical system that utilizes Spirulina sp. as a photosynthetic organism. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of Zarrouk, BG11, and GA media on the electricity output of Spirulina sp. in a bio-photovoltaic system using a vertical salt bridge. Cultivation was conducted indoors in acrylic chambers under continuous light intensity of 3000 lux for 24 hours with an aeration cycle of one hour on and 20 minutes off. The cultivation was carried out in two replications with triplicate data collection at 08:00, 12:00, and 16:00. The highest voltage, current density, and power density were produced in Zarrouk medium, with values of 0.777?±?0.001 V, 8.672?±?0.016 mA/m², and 6.738?±?0.024 mW/m², respectively. BG-11 medium generated 0.775?±?0.004 V, 8.646?±?0.037 mA/m², and 6.698?±?0.057 mW/m². GA medium showed the lowest performance with values of 0.765?±?0.000 V, 8.536?±?0.003 mA/m², and 6.529?±?0.004 mW/m². Zarrouk and BG-11 media demonstrated relatively comparable performance, while GA medium resulted in the lowest electricity output. | |
