| dc.description.abstract | Perkembangan media sosial Instagram telah membuka peluang besar dalam promosi pariwisata dan edukasi publik, termasuk untuk lembaga museum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media sosial Instagram sebagai sarana branding Unit Pengelola Museum Kesejarahan Jakarta (UPMKJ) berdasarkan permintaan pengunjung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Design Thinking. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dengan pengelola, penyebaran kuesioner dan studi literatur. Sumber data penelitian ini berasal dari responden berupa hasil wawancara dengan pegawai Unit Pengelola Museum Kesejarahan Jakarta bidang Edukasi Informasi dan penyebaran kuesioner close ended kepada 100 pengunjung Museum yang merupakan hasil perhitungan rumus slovin dari pengikut media sosial Instagram untuk menilai hasil rancangan berdasarkan skala likert 1-5 (Sangat tidak setuju- sangat setuju). Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akun Instagram Unit Pengelola Museum Kesejarahan Jakarta (UPMKJ) dengan kondisi eksisting algoritma yang berubah-ubah serta belum memiliki standar desain dan jenis konten. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner responden didominasi dengan setuju terhadap pentingnya pengembangan terhadap konten dan desain. Pengembangan difokuskan pada pembuatan konten edukatif, interaktif, dan informatif, serta desain visual yang menarik dan sesuai identitas museum. Rancangan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan daya tarik, keterlibatan pengguna, dan efektivitas UPMKJ melalui media sosial Instagram. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The development of Instagram social media has opened up great opportunities in tourism promotion and public education, including for museum institutions. This study aims to develop Instagram social media as a branding tool for the Jakarta History Museum Management Unit (UPMKJ) based on visitor requests. The research method used is the Design Thinking approach. Data were obtained through observation, interviews with managers, questionnaire distribution and literature studies. The data sources for this study came from respondents in the form of interviews with employees of the Jakarta History Museum Management Unit in the Information Education field and the distribution of closed-end questionnaires to 100 Museum visitors which were the results of Slovin calculations from Instagram social media followers to assess the design results based on a Likert scale of 1-5 (Strongly disagree - strongly agree). The analysis of this study used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the study show that the Instagram account of the Jakarta History Museum Management Unit (UPMKJ) with the existing algorithm conditions that change and do not yet have design standards and types of content. Based on the results of the questionnaire, respondents predominantly agreed with the importance of developing content and design. Development is focused on creating educational, interactive, and informative content, as well as attractive visual designs that match the museum's identity. This design is expected to increase the attractiveness, user engagement, and effectiveness of UPMKJ through Instagram social media. | |
