Abstract: Status gizi dipengaruhi langsung oleh kuantitas dan kualitas konsumsi pangan. Status sosial ekonomi, karakteristik balita, karakteristik ibu, pengetahuan gizi, dan pola asuh makan dapat memengaruhi konsumsi pangan balita. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor determinan konsumsi pangan dan hubungannya dengan status gizi balita di rusunawa KS Tubun Jakarta. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional study. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 57 balita usia 12-59 bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hampir separuh subjek (42%) memiliki tingkat kecukupan energi normal dan lebih dari separuh subjek (65%) memiliki tingkat kecukupan protein lebih. Sebagian besar keragaman pangan subjek tergolong tinggi (65%). Status gizi subjek sebagian besar tergolong normal berdasarkan indikator BB/U (91%), TB/U (84%), dan BB/TB (88%). Uji korelasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan (p<0,05) antara pendidikan ibu dan pekerjaan ibu dengan pengetahuan gizi, pengetahuan gizi dengan pola asuh makan. Terdapat hubungan signifikan (p<0,05) antara pendidikan ibu dengan tingkat kecukupan energi (TKE); pekerjaan ibu dengan tingkat kecukupan protein (TKP); besar keluarga dengan tingkat kecukupan energi dan protein; pendidikan ibu, pengetahuan gizi, dan pola asuh makan dengan keragaman pangan. Terdapat hubungan signifikan (p<0,05) antara tingkat kecukupan protein dengan BB/U, dan keragaman pangan dengan BB/U dan BB/TB.
Nutritional status is directly influenced by the quantity and quality of food consumption. Socioeconomic status, toddler characteristics, maternal characteristics, nutritional knowledge, and parental feeding style can affect toddler consumption. The aim of this study is to analyze the determinants of food consumption and its relationship with the nutritional status of toddlers in rusunawa KS Tubun Jakarta. The research subjects consisted of 57 toddlers aged 12-59 months. The result of study showed that almost half of the subjects (42%) had a normal level of energy adequacy and 65% subjects had high level of protein adequacy. Most subjects had a high level of food diversity (65%). The nutritional status of most subjects was normal according to the indicator of weight-for-age (91%), height-for-age (84%), and weight-for-height (88%). Correlation test showed a significant relationship (p<0.05) between mother's education and occupation with nutritional knowledge, nutritional knowledge with parental feeding style. There was a significant relationship (p<0.05) between mother's education with energy adequacy level (EAL); mother's occupation with protein adequacy level (PAL); family size with EAL and PAL; mother's education, nutritional knowledge, and parental feeding style with food diversity. There was a significant relationship (p<0.05) between PAL with weight-for-age, and food diversity with weight-for-age and weight-for-height.
