Abstract: Media sosial seperti Instagram dapat digunakan sebagai sarana penyebaran informasi. Akun Instagram @mypangandaran manfaatkan media sosial untuk promosi dan penyampaian informasi seputar pariwisata Pangandaran. Akun Instagram @myangandaran ini menyampaikan informasi secara interaktif kepada audiens. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas penyampaian informasi oleh akun @mypangandaran menggunakan model EPIC (Empathy, Persuasion, Impact, Communication), serta menganalisis kualitas konten visual berdasarkan lima indikator, yaitu tipografi, ilustrasi, fotografi, videografi, warna, tata letak, dan logo. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif, serta didukung dengan data kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan studi pustaka. Sementara itu, data kualitatif diperoleh melalui proses reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Instagram oleh @mypangandaran dalam menyampaikan informasi dinilai sangat efektif dan didukung oleh kualitas konten visual yang baik.
Social media such as Instagram can be used as a means of disseminating information. The Instagram account @mypangandaran utilizes social media to promote and disseminate information about Pangandaran tourism. The account delivers information interactively to its audience. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of @mypangandaran's information delivery using the EPIC (Empathy, Persuasion, Impact, Communication) model and analyze the quality of visual content based on five indicators: typography, illustration, photography, videography, color, layout, and logo. The approach used is descriptive quantitative, supported by qualitative data. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature review. Qualitative data were obtained through data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results indicate that @mypangandaran's use of Instagram to convey information is considered highly effective and supported by high-quality visual content.
