Abstract: Wisata edukasi merupakan kegiatan yang efektif dalam mengintegrasikan unsur rekreasi dan pendidikan. PT Bintan Resort Cakrawala (BRC) memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan sebagai destinasi wisata edukasi dengan adanya 5 departemen operasional. Tujuan penelitian mengidentifikasi potensi kawasan PT BRC, menganalisis karakteristik, motivasi, persepsi dan preferensi pelajar terhadap wisata edukasi, serta merancang paket wisata edukasi yang menarik dan aplikatif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, studi literatur serta analisis data deskriptif, skala likert dan regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil observasi potensi wisata edukasi di PT BRC didapatkan 5 departemen yang berpotensi menjadi kegiatan wisata edukasi. Motivasi, persepsi dan preferensi pelajar menjadi poin utama dalam menyusun perencanaan wisata edukasi yang relevan dan efektif. Pengaruh persepsi dan motivasi terhadap preferensi pelajar dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, serta uji hipotesis yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh masing-masing variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen secara simultan. Luaran yang dibuat berupa rancangan paket wisata edukasi, peta wisata, flyer dan leaflet.
Educational tourism is an effective activity in integrating elements of recreation and education. PT Bintan Resort Cakrawala (BRC) has great potential to be developed as an educational tourism destination with 5 operational departments. The research aims to identify the potential of the PT BRC area, analyze the characteristics, motivations, perceptions, and preferences of students towards educational tourism and design attractive and applicable educational tourism packages. The methods used include observation, interviews, questionnaires, literature studies and descriptive data analysis, Likert scale and multiple linear regression. Based on the observation of the potential for educational tourism at PT BRC, 5 departments were found to have the potential to become educational tourism activities. Motivation, perception and student preferences are the main points in developing a relevant and effective educational tourism plan. The effect of perception and motivation on student preferences is carried out using multiple linear regression analysis, as well as hypothesis testing which aims to determine the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable simultaneously. The output is in the form of educational tourism package design, tourist map, flyer and leaflet.
