The global energy crisis has driven the search for environmentally friendly and sustainable energy alternatives. Biopellets from biomass, such as cassava stem waste and sengon wood powder, offer a renewable energy solution. This study aims to analyze the quality of biopellets from cassava stem waste and sengon wood powder with various mixture ratios (100% cassava stem; 30:70, 50:50, 70:30 cassava stems:teak wood sawdust; 100% teak wood sawdust) based on SNI 8675- 2018, as well as analyzing the economic aspects of production. The parameters tested included moisture content, ash content, volatile matter, fixed carbon, calorific value, and combustion rate. The results showed that all parameters met SNI standards, except for volatile matter content, which exceeded the maximum limit for household use. The production cost of biopellets is Rp 3.440/kg, with a selling price of Rp 4.500/kg. This product has potential for use in the small-scale industrial sector, households, and power plants due to its energy efficiency and low emissions. The utilization of this waste supports the principles of the circular economy and sustainable waste management in Indonesia.
